OUR MISSION

Creating Community-Centered Running Experiences

The Stalwart Runners create community-centered running experiences that inspire runners and unite residents, businesses, and first responders through integrity, quality, and safety.

Stalwart Runners is a USATF- and RRCA-affiliated club and race organizer serving towns across North Texas, founded on the belief that every town deserves a meaningful, well-run community race day.

OUR VISION

A Vital Part of Every Town's Cultural Fabric

Our event will remain a vital part of the local cultural fabric, setting the standard for community road races while uniting residents, businesses, and first responders.

Stalwart Runners measures success not only in finish times but in the lasting relationships forged between neighbors, local businesses, and the first responders who keep every community safe.

OUR FOCUS

Our Focus Is Twofold

Hosting a running event in each town and organizing regular club runs in alignment with RRCA's Code of Ethics to keep the community engaged and motivated year-round. We are proud club members of RRCA and USATF.

Hosting Community Road Races

Stalwart Runners brings organized, certified road races — 1K, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon — to individual towns, creating a signature event day that rallies the whole community around a shared experience.

Year-Round Club Runs

Beyond race day, the club hosts regular group runs conducted in strict alignment with RRCA's Code of Ethics, keeping members engaged, motivated, and connected to a supportive running community throughout the year.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Meet Rakesh Sharma, Founder & Director

Rakesh Sharma is the Founder and Director of Stalwart Runners Inc. He is a Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Certified Race Director and an RRCA Level 1 Certified Running Coach.

Rakesh founded Stalwart Runners with a simple vision: to create a welcoming and supportive community for individuals who want to begin their running journey. He believes that getting started is often the hardest part of running, and that having a community of like-minded people can make the experience more enjoyable, motivating, and sustainable.

Through Stalwart Runners, Rakesh seeks to provide encouragement, education, accountability, and a supportive environment where participants can build confidence, develop healthy habits, and work toward their personal running goals at their own pace.

Important Note: While Rakesh Sharma holds RRCA certifications in race directing and running coaching, the Get Ready Program is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, or mental health counseling. Participants are responsible for consulting their healthcare provider regarding any medical concerns before participating in the program.
